Legal
Every policy, one page.
The terms you accept before a paid report, the refund stance, and how your files and data are handled. Short by design, written to be read.
Terms
Reviewed planning support, not final authority.
These launch terms set the baseline users must accept before paid report generation.
AI-assisted output
AutoCity Labs reports are preliminary AI-assisted planning summaries prepared for professional review. They may include errors, omissions, stale public data, or interpretations that require confirmation.
Professional verification
Users are responsible for verifying report content before relying on it in professional work, submissions, purchase or sale decisions, financing, design, permitting, or construction.
Not a licensed planning firm
AutoCity Labs provides software-assisted report preparation and review workflows. It does not replace municipal confirmation, legal advice, survey work, zoning certificates, building permit review, or advice from a qualified professional.
Limited liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoCity Labs is not liable for decisions made from unverified report content, unavailable public data, third-party source errors, or customer-provided documents.
Failed reports
If a paid report cannot be completed into a usable result, the job is routed for retry, admin review, credit restoration, or refund review according to the refund policy.
Refunds
Manual review, clear payment trail.
Refunds are reviewed manually. If AutoCity Labs cannot produce a report after payment, the customer can receive a refund or credit through the admin recovery flow.
Where is my report?
If Stripe confirmed payment but the email never arrived, recover a fresh guest access link with the checkout email and Stripe confirmation ID from the payment receipt or return URL.
If recovery does not find your payment, confirm the checkout email and Stripe confirmation ID match the receipt exactly.
Launch refund stance
Completed reports are not automatically refundable. If core zoning or official-plan lookup fails for the subject property, the job may be routed for refund or credit restoration.
Failed reports
If a paid report cannot be completed into a usable result, the job may be marked non-recoverable and credited back in the ledger. Retryable lookup or source failures stay recoverable and return to the queue.
Data safety
Your files, your call.
Uploaded customer materials are not used for model training unless you opt in. Reports and files are used to fulfill your order and stored securely for delivery and support.
No training by default
Source files, generated reports, and feedback stay on the order unless separate consent is given. Nothing goes into model training by default.
Optional training consent
An optional checkbox may appear when starting a report, uploading, or checking out. It stays off by default. Purchase and delivery work without it. Account preference can be updated in dashboard settings.
If opted in, consent may cover:
- Uploaded source materials
- Generated reports and outputs for the job
- Feedback submitted for product improvement
How files are used
Uploaded files are private source material for report fulfillment. They are available to authorized administrators and the external planning-analysis workflow used to produce the report.
Data removal
You can request removal from dashboard settings or by contacting support. We process requests as soon as we can; timing may vary.
We delete uploaded documents and reports on request unless retention is required for support, fraud prevention, legal, or accounting reasons.
Payments
Stripe processes card payments. AutoCity Labs stores payment state, checkout email, and report delivery metadata needed for support and reconciliation.
